  • The Graduate Cost Analysis Program (GCA), Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB) - The Graduate Cost Analysis Program provides a graduate education designed to support Air Force and DoD cost analysts involved in weapon system acquisition. The GCA program merges general management skills and concepts with the technical quantitative skills needed by a cost analyst. The program ensures that the student understands the cost analyst's environment and role, the concepts of cost modeling and estimation, and the correct application of quantitative techniques used in cost estimation and cost analysis. This 15-month resident program culminates in the award of a Master of Science in Cost Analysis. Students enter the program in June and graduate the following September.
  • Defense Acquisition University - Established by Congress in 1990 to consolidate and integrate education and training for more than 110,000 people in the Defense Acquisition Workforce. Consortium member schools provide more than 85 acquisition courses to entry, intermediate, and senior level civilian and uniformed personnel to allow them to attain certification in one or more of the 11 defense acquisition career fields. Courses are developed and delivered by 12 DoD educational institutions and by contractors to DAU.
  • Productivity Analysis and Cost Modeling - Discusses research into the role of advanced cost models in product development and manufacturing.
